<p>This cam is awesome! The only negative i encountered is the zoom button. Placement is awkward and using it tends to cause the camera to shake a bit reaching for it but im getting used to it. I feel that these controls should be managed with your thumb which would make it more convenient and less shake performing zoom functions.</p>
<div>Low light is sufficient. (set on automatic) I had one fixture on in my kitchen and there was some graininess on the XP+ setting (LP, SP, XP+, FXP &amp; MXP). Not a major concern since I do not plan on shooting without any light source. This cam does have an onboard video flash which I will test in dark and post results later.</div>
<div>MXP Mode:</div>
<div>Playback in MXP is absolutely impossible on my laptop.</div>
<div>Upload to Motionbox and playback is great! Although, expected, upload is slower than I would like. Time to look at Optimum Ultra (boost 5Mbps up / Ultra 15Mbps up)</div>
<div>Playback on TV AWESOME!</div>
<div>Have not used the incl software to edit yet (downloaded trial of Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD)</div>
<div>If purchase at Costco ($569.99+tax)</div>
<div>double warranty</div>
<div>90 day return / price protection</div>
<div>buy and use same day (online free shipping)</div>
<div>came w/very nice travel bag / mini HDMI cable &amp; 8gb SDHC card</div>
<div>If purchase at Amazon ($549.00 + $5.56 standard shipping 3-5 days + tax)</div>
<div>cant compare vs costco unless u dont need an hdmi cable, 8gb card or bag.</div>
<div>NO travel bag / SDHC card or Mini HDMI cable (free at costco)</div>
